Project Summary
(1998-09-01 - 1999-11-30) To create a better understanding of mercury loading from the terrestrial environment to streams by: 1)quantifying mercury loading in two streams of differing land-use characteristics, 2) examining the relationship that may exist between particulate and dissolved mercury with suspended sediment and dissolved organic carbon (DOC), respectively, in stream water, and 3) quantifying the loading of mercury, suspended sediment, and DOC under varying flow regimes. |
