Project Summary
(1996-10-22 - Current) Continuous monitoring of UVB and related parameters as part of a national network of sites concerned with characterizing climatological and geographical distribution of UV-B irradiance, providing ground truth for satellite measurements and information for radiation transfer model calculations, identifying potential damage effects of UV-B to agricultural crops and forests, and establishing long-term records of UV-B irradiance necessary to assess trends. |
